Always look for "talent" when you're at the Pub

Written by TallGuysInSpandex at 18:50 2/11-2020

Over the weekend we found ourselves looking at the hirelist for bargains, as is our habit. Also part of our habit is to do so while downing a pint or three from a barstool.

  That's very wise indeed. :)

TallGuysInSpandex at 21:29 2/11-2020
I did not remember the One Stat scouting, but I found it in the OCM Manual...so now I have a reason to enable Quick Scouting...sometimes. I like to keep it hard for myself to spend money on scouting, so will leave that disabled until I need it :)

Schiavi di Don at 21:12 2/11-2020
I can really recommend one stat scouting. Still finds you the good enough riders, and saves a lot. As long as you keep focusing on one stat of course, otherwise you'll be doubting yourself all the time.

TallGuysInSpandex at 21:08 2/11-2020
Good point, Don. With my goals of building from Scots, I have to do some scouting...but I only scout Scots...and only ones that I sign to at least do enough jobs to pay back the scouting fees :)

Holwerda Cycling at 21:06 2/11-2020
Well, it could have been worse.

Schiavi di Don at 21:05 2/11-2020
170+ CL and Average FR, decent tour rider! ;)
Jokes aside, scouting is fun, but when the fun stops, stop!
  Still a joke I guess. :P
